Inside this issue:

Message from the publisher!

Can you believe it is March already. I can't! Sorry we have been so quiet lately. The time has gotten away from us. I know everyone is ready for Spring, so we have scheduled 2 Saturday classes to get you in the mood. See the description below with dates and times.

I want to thank, Mike Pfledderer for setting up the large kiln for us. So if you need pieces fired, we can do that for you for a nominal fee.

Have a creative artful day!
Donna

A Call to Artist "World's Largest tiny Art Show-2011"

I know it's a bit early for this, but we wanted to put a bug in your ear so you can start your tiny art now and we will have plenty come November.

So that you can decide what to do for this year we want to share what type of art sold last year.

  • Triptych paintings - a set of 3 canvases 2 the same size, the 3rd narrow but the same height. This was a mixed media piece and all 3 pieces sold as a set for $50
  • Art of historical reference
  • Themes - art pieces that go together such as-frogs. So if you paint a frog, paint 3 different scenes and price the pieces so they will sell. $50 may be to high for some pieces, but if you keep the price low enough you can sell 3 at a time or 3 for $50

November 1st December 31st 2011

The show will be during the holiday months of November and December and we are going to fill the Galleries with artwork that is no larger than 6 inches x 6 inches.

Put a little color in your life, music in your soul and words in your heart.

Support your local artists and visit an art gallery today, or attend a concert of your favorite musicians, or purchase a book of your favorite author or poet.

We need them all in our lives or our world would be without color, without rhythm and without beautiful words to speak.
